Everyday this week after work I've been working really hard to get some order in my office/craftroom. I didn't realize how much stuff I had. One of my New Year goals was to finish projects before starting new ones. In order to finish projects, I need a place to do them. and I still need a few bins from Ikea for my Expedit shelving system.
I used gift tags from the dollar section at Michael's and my label maker to make labels for each bin.
To secure them onto the baskets, I used a few drops of hot glue. I was going to use tape but hot glue is stronger and would last longer. Can you tell the labels are covering a square hole on each basket? That was another reason I chose these tags , I didn't want to see the items inside the baskets.
Here are a few organized shelves. I used a cake plate to hold my jars and a milk glass flower pot to hold my pens. The tiered desk organizer is from Office Max. Its from the DiVOGA line. I love the quilted design. So timeless!
Let's also discuss this green bottle. Where have i been my whole life without Perrier?? Heaven in a bottle. I have quite a few bottles in our recycling bin so I decided to use one as a bud vase. If you are my friend that discussed using these for your wedding, please know I am saving them for you. They also have the smaller bottles. I will get those next week, I thank you for supporting my habit. :)
My little art gallery is growing. These pieces add inspiration and color into the room and it's nice seeing my work as a collection. :) On the left that is my African drum. It was a gift from my husband and it's probably one of the best gifts I've ever received. Maybe one day I will play for yall...in that I mean play and upload it as a youtube video.

I LOVE it! Our office/craft/misc room is so tiny that it is difficult to make it cute. Maybe I should just hire you as my home stylist! :)
Looks great!!! I can't wait to see the final product :-) Those baskets are great!
those labels look really cute!
I love organizing things like that, I've probably reorganized my entire room 6 times this year. Bought new decorative boxes to put things in, printed off decorative labels. I go overboard with it sometimes :D

These are so pretty - I need to do something similar with our baskets so you don't have to rummage through to see what's inside.
