New year, new blog design, and the best of 2012

New year, new blog design, best of 2012 and a few goals. What a year this has been. It's flown by but it's been really fun. So many great things have happened and I can't wait to see what the year 2013 brings.

But before we start thinking about 2013, lets take a look at the best of 2012.

This year we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. The theme for 1 year is paper so I made Rich a collection of framed maps. The gift was a huge hit.

We went on our honeymoon to Aruba. THE BEST BEACH I've ever been to. AMAZING! I've just realized I haven't really blogged about that yet so let's say a goal for next year will be to share a bit of that with you. Here is a photo from a sailing trip in Aruba.

Below is our snorkeling video. They kept asking to see our ring which explains the awkward moment when our rings flash the screen. It was so much fun! 

We traveled to Scotland. This was the first time I'd been there in the Summer and it was so beautiful. No snow and the weather was very pleasant....pleasant enough for a drive in the Jag with the top down.  Scotland is so green and it's beautiful can not be described. If you have not been, you have to go!

We wanted to strangled each other strengthened our relationship by building a media unit. Definitely a true test in our relationship and now we have this gorgeous piece built with love. Which will be styled completely in the new year. :) 

To finish out the year, I made this little ring frame which holds my wedding ring everyday. I absolutely love it. It's super special to me as it's made with applique from my wedding dress and the best part??....It was super easy to make.
